href=\"http:\/\/A%20Brevard%20County%20woman%20is%20facing%20a%20string%20of%20charges%20after%20she%20allegedly%20hacked%20into%20the%20computer%20system%20at%20Melbourne%20Flight%20Training.%20%20Authorities%20first%20knew%20something%20was%20wrong%20on%20Jan%2012,%202020,%20when%20the%20CEO%20of%20MFT,%20Derek%20Fallon,%20logged%20into%20the%20Flight%20Training%20computer%20and%20noticed%20multiple%20things%20were%20off.%20He%20said%20the%20make\/model\/tail%20numbers%20had%20been%20deleted%20for%2012%20airplanes.%20Aircrafts%20that%20had%20been%20flagged%20as%20having%20maintenance%20issues%20had%20been%20%E2%80%9Ccleared.%E2%80%9D%20%20An%20affidavit%20states,%20%E2%80%9Cmeaning%20aircraft%20which%20may%20have%20been%20unsafe%20to%20fly%20were%20purposely%20made%20%E2%80%98airworthy.'%E2%80%9D%20%20Fallon%20also%20found%20inspection%20limitations%20had%20been%20deleted.%20%20He%20called%20the%20owner%20of%20the%20software%20and%20was%20told%20there%20was%20no%20systemwide%20problem.%20%20Fallon%20instructed%20all%20flights%20to%20be%20grounded%20until%20the%20information%20could%20be%20restored.%20%20%E2%80%9CBetween%20the%20time%20the%20data%20was%20altered%20and%20fixed,%20it%20was%20a%20situation%20that%20could%20have%20endangered%20human%20life,%E2%80%9D%20Fallon%20wrote%20in%20a%20sworn%20affidavit.%20%20Fallon%20identified%20two%20suspects:%20A%20man%20who%20had%20been%20the%20Director%20of%20Maintenance%20for%20MFT%20before%20being%20fired%20in%20November%20of%202019,%20and%20his%20daughter,%20Lauren%20Lide,%2026,%20who%20resigned%20from%20her%20job%20as%20Flight%20Operations%20Manager%20the%20same%20day%20her%20father%20was%20fired.%20%20Investigators%20found%20that%20a%20login%20belonging%20to%20the%20current%20flight%20operations%20manager%20was%20used%20to%20make%20the%20dangerous%20changes%20in%20the%20flight%20software.%20However,%20the%20current%20flight%20operations%20manager%20signed%20an%20affidavit%20stating%20he%20did%20not%20modify\/delete%20aircraft%20information.%20%20Investigators%20determined%20that%20the%20IP%20address%20used%20to%20log%20into%20the%20software%20belonged%20to%20Lauren%20Lide%E2%80%99s%20father.%20Lide%E2%80%99s%20father%20stated%20he%20%E2%80%9Cdidn%E2%80%99t%20have%20a%20clue%E2%80%9D%20why%20his%20computer%20had%20been%20used%20to%20access%20the%20MFT%20computer.%20%20Pressed%20on%20if%20he%20knew%20anyone%20that%20would%20want%20to%20sabotage%20the%20computer%20information,%20he%20said,%20%E2%80%9CI%E2%80%99m%20kinda%20concerned%20about%20my%20daughter%20at%20this%20point.%E2%80%9D%20%20Lide%E2%80%99s%20father%20stated%20that%20Fallon%20made%20his%20daughter%20%E2%80%9Cmiserable%E2%80%9D%20and%20%E2%80%9Clied%20to%20her.%E2%80%9D%20%20%E2%80%9CShe%20couldn%E2%80%99t%20wait%20to%20get%20out%20of%20there,%E2%80%9D%20he%20said,%20according%20to%20an%20affidavit.%20%E2%80%9CYou%20guys%20don%E2%80%99t%20understand%20the%20torment%20he%20put%20her%20through.%E2%80%9D%20%20Lide%E2%80%99s%20father%20finally%20%E2%80%9Cconfessed%E2%80%9D%20to%20sabotaging%20the%20computers,%20but%20police%20say%20he%20was%20unable%20to%20say%20what%20he%20did%20or%20how%20he%20did%20it.%20%20Detectives%20determined%20%E2%80%9CLauren%20Lide%20is%20one%20of%20only%20a%20few%20people%20in%20the%20area%20who%20had%20the%20knowledge,%20skills%20and%20ability%20to%20alter%E2%80%9D%20the%20flight%20records.%20%20She%20has%20been%20charged%20with%20accessing%20a%20computer%20electronic%20device%20without%20authority%20and%20modifying%20computer%20data%20programs%20without%20authority.\"
